My name is Lysandra Sylier. I'm soon to hit the big 2-Oh and currently attending the Community College of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. There are many places I'd rather be- Edinboro College (where I will be transferring) not the least of them.
I'm not sure what I want to do with my life yet. Teach art? Teach art history? Do I want to get into multimedia or graphic arts? Only time will tell what the Occupation of the Week is. But nothing will ever ruin my oddly fulfilling love affair with the fine arts.
I'm also a huge comic geek-- I'd like to associate my career with this. My highschool teachers told me I was silly. I told them I was silly and persistant.
Expect art on this journal, as well as reviews and general comic-y, art-y things. Expect the occassional kindhearted rant. Don't expect me to drivel on about my personal life-- I did that enough just now! Whew!
I tried to make one of these journals before. I swear this time it's for keeps.
Keep In Mind: This journal will be used mostly to post pieces of art for peer review. Feel free to be harsh and brutal. I am working on putting together an online portfolio.
